Shine City Scam:

The Shine-city Group, under the leadership of Chief Managing Director Rashid Naseem, is implicated in a significant financial scandal involving the misappropriation of funds amounting to Rs. 60,000.00 Crore. This situation has escalated to the point where Mr. Naseem, has been issued a red corner notice and is considered a wanted criminal, with a reward of 5 lakhs offered by the Uttar Pradesh Police Department, as stated on their official website. The fraudulent activities came to light when investors began to question the returns promised in the brochures and advertising materials provided by the company.

Rishabh, serving as counsel, has played a pivotal role in advocating for the interests of innocent investors. He successfully obtained an order from the Division Bench of the Hon’ble Allahabad High Court on July 1, 2024, in CrLP 20172 of 2023 [Prakash Chandra Tiwari vs Union of India & others]. In this exceptional case, the Hon’ble High Court invoked Section 8(7) of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, which significantly benefited numerous innocent investors in the state. The court directed the Enforcement Directorate to return the funds to these investors by liquidating the assets of Shine-city Group and its directors. This represents a significant and unprecedented order in the context of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002.

Due to the commendable efforts and leadership of Rishabh, along with his unwavering commitment to justice for innocent investors, on April 30, 2025, Rashid Naseem is now officially declared a Fugitive Economic Offender by the Special Court (PMLA) in Lucknow. In accordance with section 12(1) of the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act (FEOA), 2018, the fugitive offender Rashid Naseem will now be prosecuted under this act. This marks the first instance of this Act being applied to a fugitive economic offender in Uttar Pradesh. Previously, it had been invoked against notable figures such as liquor baron Vijay Mallya and diamond trader Nirav Modi, who absconded after defaulting on substantial bank loans amounting to hundreds of crores of rupees.

Gyanvapi Issue:

Rishabh is representing the Rashtriya Hindu Sangathan in the Committee of Management Anjuman Intezamia Masajid Varanasi versus Rakhi Singh and Others regarding the Gyanvapi Issue before the Supreme Court of India.

Bikru Incident:

Rishabh provided legal representation for Richa Dubey, the spouse of the deceased alleged gangster Vikas Dubey, in multiple criminal proceedings and regarding matters of personality rights across various legal forums.

Virtual Court as Fundamental right Issue case:

Rishabh served as an advocate for one of the oldest and largest bars in the country, the High Court Bar Association of Allahabad, representing before the Supreme Court of India on the issue of virtual hearings as a matter of fundamental rights in the case titled All India Association of Jurists & Others vs. High Court of Uttarakhand & Others [Writ Petition (Civil) No. 941/2021].

Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission Digital Marking Issue:

Rishabh has represented the Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission in the Supreme Court regarding a matter in which the then Hon’ble Chief Justice Gita Mittal of the J&K High Court, acting on its own motion, set aside the J&K Public Service Commission Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination due to issues related to digital marking and data corruption. Subsequently, the Supreme Court of India overturned the High Court’s order and mandated the completion of the selection process.
