Dr Amit Chaudhary is a highly accomplished and board-certified Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon with over 15 years of extensive experience in adult cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, heart failure management, and advanced thoracic procedures. A gold medallist and MRCS (UK) qualified surgeon, Dr Chaudhary earned his MCh in Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery from SGPGIMS, Lucknow, one of India’s most prestigious medical institutions. His surgical expertise spans a broad spectrum including minimally invasive cardiac surgery, valve replacements, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), aortic surgeries, endovascular procedures such as EVAR and TAVI, and complex heart failure interventions including ECMO, LVAD, and heart transplant programmes. Throughout his distinguished career, Dr Chaudhary has been instrumental in setting up and expanding cardiac surgery departments across leading hospitals including BLK Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi, and Aakash Super Speciality Hospital, where he played pivotal roles in enhancing surgical capabilities and international patient outreach. At Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, he has successfully scaled up the cardiac surgery program from an average of 10–15 cases per month to 25–30 high-complexity domestic cases monthly, while also integrating cutting-edge technologies and protocols.
